FUNDAMENTALS
Core movement techniques. Every route on this site is built from these.
Dash Jump
easy 2 STAMJump when the stamina bar is blue during a dash.
Dash Jump Slides
easy 2 STAMAfter dash jump, you have enough speed to slide, which you can prolong by jumping inbetween slides.
Wall Jump
easy 0 STAMPress jump while against a wall to make a wall jump. The direction of your camera will determine the direction of your wall jump. To jump further, you need to point your camera 45 degrees away from the wall and hold the opposite movement button (if wall is to your right, then look to your left and press D + Space).
Mantle Slide
easy 0 STAMAfter mantling, you have enough speed to slide. You should abuse it on every opportunity.
Wall Boost
easy 1 STAMDashing into a wall under an angle will give you a higher velocity. So, if a wall is to your left, then look to your right and press A + Shift mid-air.
Sprint Slide
easy 0 STAMIf your speed is at least 8.9 m/s, you will slide automatically after pressing the crouch button.
Air Strafing
easy 0 STAMIn the air, release W, hold A or D and turn the camera the same way smoothly to change your trajectory.
Mantle Corner Jump
easy 0 STAMThere are a couple of signs all over the map on which you can corner jump right after mantling on them.
Instant Air Dash (IAD)
easy 1 STAMInstant Air Dash is the act of jumping then instantly air dashing, which removes the slowdown of the regular dash. Without Stamina Mastery, it's less efficient than ground dash, but in certain situations you can still use it to start sliding immediately after dashing, like on these secret shop entrances.
Edge Boost
medium 0 STAMThis is a subcategory of wall jump, which is used right on the vertical corner of a wall/building. It boosts in direction to which you are looking.
Corner Jump
medium 0 STAMThis is a subcategory of wall jump, which is used on the horizontal corner of a wall/building. It boosts you upwards and to the side of the corner.
Mantle Wall Jump
medium 0 STAMAfter mantle sliding, you can wall jump to gain even more speed.
Vent Boost
medium 0 STAMYou can do wall-jump simultaneously with stepping on a vent to gain even more speed.
Short Hop
medium 1 STAMDash, stop the dash with a quick crouch (bind it to mousewheel down), then jump immediately after.
Zip Dash
medium 1 STAMCrouch off a zipline and dash right after to have more momentum, as you have no air drag right after ziplining.
Small Zip Jump
medium 0 STAMAfter crouching off a zipline, you have a little window to jump without using stamina.
IAD on Falling
medium 1 STAMAfter falling on the ground from above, it is possible to perform optimized IAD by jumping perfectly in the moment you touch the ground.
Zip Launch
hard 0 STAMZip Launch is a complex tech requiring you to detach from zipline in perfect tick, giving an enormous velocity boost. But you can perform it consistently from special places on map, like the one shown in the video.
Mantle Vent Boost
hard 0 STAMYou can perform a vent boost right after mantling to vent platforms on side lanes.
Dash Hop
hard 1 STAMJumping perfectly in the end of a dash lets you do a mini dash jump, which uses only 1 stamina.
Mantle Edge Boost
hard 0 STAMThis tech is continuation of Mantle Wall Jump, but in much tighter places, where you can mantle only by buffering jump inside the light melee animation. Everything else is the same: you slide and jump immediately after mantling.
IAD on Stairs
hard 1 STAMStairs is the perfect object for IADing, as you can somewhat easily adjust your position compared to the ground after jumping on them.
Back Hook
easy 0 STAMYou can control where a hero will land after your hook by rotating camera.
Bebop Heavy Melee Hide
easy 0 STAMBebop can hide heavy melee animation in first spell animation.
Drifter Creep Mark Teleport
easy 0 STAMDrifter can mark any active creep and teleport to it.
Graves Ultimate Block
easy 0 STAMGraves ultimate blocks all kinds of projectiles.
Holliday On Place Barrel
easy 0 STAMYour camera placement matters for barrel spawn point and its velocity: looking up makes it spawn right at your feet without further movement.
Holliday Insta Jump Pad Crash
medium 1 STAMDashing right after stepping on jump pad cancels the vertical momentum, making you land on ground faster.
Lash Ultimate Momentum Preservation
easy 0 STAMWhen using ultimate on Lash you preserve the existing momentum.
Lash Grapple Wall Jump
easy 0 STAMUsing Grapple and wall jump at the same time gives you huge horizontal momentum.
Shiv M2 Sliding
medium 0 STAMPressing M2 90 degrees to your left or right while sliding gives you a small speed boost, which you can use with jumping.
Shiv M2 Knockback Jump
hard 0 STAMYou can combine M2 knocback with wall jumping for getting even more speed, for that you should press M2 a little before wall jumping.
Shiv Super Jump
hard 0 STAMAiming down perfectly at somewhat 30 degree angle together with wall jump gives you a huge vertical boost.
Silver Backwards Boot Kick
easy 0 STAMThe direction of enemy's push depends on your camera angle, which makes it possible to push them to your team/guardian/walker.
Venator Heavy Melee Hide
easy 0 STAMYou can start heavy melee animation right after pressing second skill, inserting melee animation into it, which makees you able to get a melee without getting parried, but it won't work if you are far enough from the enemy.
Venator Knockback Jump
hard 0 STAMCombining Venator's second with wall jump gives you a huge backwards momentum.
Vindicta Flight Boost
easy 0 STAMCancelling Vindicta second skill mid-animation lets you preserve horizontal momentum, which can be useful for escapes.
Viscous Heavy Melee Hide in Ultimate Animation
easy 0 STAMViscous ultimate has a starting animation, in which you can start charging up heavy melee.
Viscous Knockback Jump
medium 0 STAMCombining Viscous's third with wall jump gives you a huge backwards momentum.
